Was Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings worth buying?
Yes, clearly. The singles are worth several times what the deck cost at release.
Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings sold for $149.99 direct from Wizards of the Coast. Its singles are worth $683.18 today. That is 4.55× what you paid, over the 3 years since it sold.
That is a return over time, not a judgment about the day it launched: the sale price in that sentence is from the day it sold and the singles value is from today. An older deck has had longer for its cards to move, which is why age is quoted alongside the multiple.
