Was Wakanda Forever worth buying?
About break-even. The singles are worth roughly what the deck cost at release.
Wakanda Forever cost $74.99 at release. Its singles are worth $68.13 today. That is 0.91× what you paid, since it was released earlier this year.
That is a return over time, not a judgment about the day it launched: the release price in that sentence is from release day and the singles value is from today. An older deck has had longer for its cards to move, which is why age is quoted alongside the multiple.
Card prices as of 2026-10-27. Release price: Wizards of the Coast, verified 2026-09-02.

Standard or Collector’s Edition?
Wakanda Forever also shipped, card for card, as Wakanda Forever Collector's Edition: the same 100 cards, every one of them in foil. This is the standard version, with 1 foil card.
It cost $74.99 at release, $85.00 less than the Collector’s Edition’s $159.99.
As of 2026-10-27, the Collector’s Edition’s singles are worth at least $76.25 against this deck’s $68.13, at least $8.12 more. 75 of the Collector’s Edition’s foils are still counted at their non-foil price, so the real gap is wider than that.
